Fire Forms at Blue Deer : In August of 2003, Jayant Kachhwaha, an emissary of the popular Indian teacher, Sai Baba, visited Eureka Springs. He spent several days here, speaking with groups of interested people in their homes. During this visit, J,K, conducted a fire ceremony he called a Yaagna at Blue Deer, a private acreage on Keel's Creek. During that ceremony, held on the dry creek bed, I took a series of photos of the fire. To my astonishment, many of the photos showed rather distinct figure forms in the fire that I had NOT seen in the view finder. Later when I showed these images to J.K., he was astounded and took copies with him back to India where they "created quite a stir." I must add that the images as shown here are exactly as they came from the camera and have NOT been altered or adjusted in any way. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't taken the photos myself!
